I would definitely say so.. Love and hate are very close together.. as long as one ''hates'' another person one must have still feelings for them.. I would say if one doesn't care about a person one is indifferent to them.. Hate is as strong a word as love.. someone would have to do something that hurts me personally very deeply such as ruin my reputation.. and I did nothing wrong or harming a loved one.. otherwise I don't hate anyone.. I may not like everyone but the word ''I hate xxx'' is used so often and I am sure they mean they dislike them or not even that.. sometimes it just means ''i really dislike what xxx did''

One should not hate other people unless they really have done something horrible because we are all human beings and nobody is perfect.. we all have strenghts and weaknesses.. if we don't like someone we don't really care what they think .. we are indifferent towards them .. if we hate someone that person has a hold over us.. that person means something to us...otherwise we would not feel such a strong emotion as hate. it is a strong emotion we have for this person even if it's a negative emotion it's as strong as love is.. only that love is positive ...I would say I don't care for that person and I feel indifferent towards this person.. in other words.. ''what this person got to say doesn't bother me...'' if I don't like someone... but I don't hate a person just because that person has lousy manners.. I just go and look for different friends... who treat me with respect..but I dont' hate him or her.. I just would feel not respected and time to move on... and leave them behind but without hate..

    yes.

I know people who are always saying "i hate this" "i hate that" etc etc etc

It makes the person seem very hateful and a real drag to be around.

    They probably ARE hateful.

I bet they think about hate a lot more than they say it too.

So, for ever time you hear someone say " I hate snow", they are thinking about 1000 other things they hate, even if they don't say it out loud.

Life is too short for hating everything. LOL

I think so, hate is a really strong word. A lot of people think that the opposite of love is hate but it is really indifference.
