Picture mail/Text Messaging?

Please help, I need to send a picture/video to a person who is waiting eagerly for me, this is a real emergency! Please help and respond ASAP!

Whenever I try to send a picture/video they always bring me to this purple page asking me to connect to the internet, which I do not want, and did not subscribe to. However, my neighbor has the exact same phone plan as me, and they can send picture mail with not even a single drop of sweat. I am confused about everything, and if I do "connect" to internet with the picture mail will I be charged?

Also about text messaging, I have the $5.00 300 texting and I was informed by this confused employee that if I do not read the text message and instantly delete it, it would not count as a text messaging. However, later he said that it would, and that meant I would have to pay money towards 300 text messaging. Then, again he agreed with his first idea then said again, oh wait, it does charge. So I am deeply confused.
