What sites are there to see in Edinburgh?

I know about the Royal Mile, Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Any other suggestions? I am taking a group of high school students and I want ideas for 2 days.

Most teenagers enjoy the Ice-Rink beside Murrayfield Stadium, which also holds a disco each friday night. Roslyn Chapel is also good for a day out - made famous from the Da Vinci Code Movie and Book. If they enjoyed Irvine Welsh's book Trainspotting, you can do a Trainspotting tour. There are also lots of other under 18 clubs that operate on a friday and saturday evening and plenty of cinemas around if you are stuck or weather is bad.

I think all students should go to visit the new Parliament building and witness a debate. Walk back into town through the Cowgate and Grassmarket afterwards for a bit of sightseeing.

I found an hotel site that lists lots of things to do on a budget in Edinburgh, which is quoted below.

    Hope this helps.

Take them up Arthur's seat. It's an extinct volcanic hill that takes about 45min to an hour to climb up. You get an excellent view of the city.

Mushy peas, Cod, grey poupon, periods of rain and more rain, the flop top bowl hair cuts called fashion, and don't forget the Queen. Taxes out the Yin-Yang!!! Great Britain are nothing more than pawns...
