Does anyone give a rat's proverbials about men any more?

Before I go on, I'll make a note that I am female. I've noticed that women's issue are huge on the public agenda. They're important, so fair enough. But there doesn't seem to be much concern for men, who often say to me they've got no damn idea what their role is in society any more. That says nothing of single fathers and the like who always seem to get a raw deal in divorce and custody battles. I don't think working to better things for women means we should stop caring about our men.

I totally agree with you on the "raw deal in divorce and custody battles." I understand what they were trying to do, hell; my generation helped bring some of these "Women's Rights" into existence, and I was proud to help. I think they carried it a bit TOO far however. Not whining but hardly seems fair. Now to your other point.

I still advocate for women's rights, especially the right to NOT be a victim of "Violence Against Women." Matter of fact, I got on here this evening with the intention of finding someone who could steer me to a group where I could be of assistance in helping to bring about new laws in America aimed at stopping violence against women. However; it does seem, to a point at least, that your statement about a man's role in society is true. The problem is, if a man complains about anything nowadays, he is just whining or he has something against all women simply because he feels disenfranchised. In either case he is a rat and doesn't deserve to get any ?@#&^%$. Do you see the problem now?

I agree with your last statement 110%!! Are you married?

No one is going to care about men's issues or the very lives of men so long as groups like feminists continue to let their emotions override their brains.

Women have all th rights of men as it should be but now they push for more and more laws that give them ever more power over men and children.

For every law passed that is designed to give more protections to women they open the door for more women to use them in a wrongful manner.

Most laws passed in favor of women are worded to be biased against men without coming outright and saying that is it's intent.

Almost all of the things feminists claim men did to their ancestor's {not them themselves of course} they are doing to men.

We are marginalized and trivialized when we voice what is being done to men.

This very place is a good example of that. I am sure for speaking out I will get a lot of thumbs down and a few femmies I am sure will use shaming language to try to make my points seem invalid.

All the while crying that calling them lesbians silences them the same way they do anti feminists with shaming language and belittling remarks.

Since the recession men have lost 1.1 million jobs in the last year, women have gained 12,000, and things are likely to get worse for men. Ya know what happened the moment Obama declared that he was going to put some money to help jobs that got the hit the hardest (most of them happened to be male-dominated)? They basically complained how inequitable this was and are putting pressure on Obama not to put men into consideration so much:

Anyway, I want to thank you for giving a damn about us.

    Well feminists have been intentionally:

Blowing "women's issues" out of proportion,

    Marginalizing "men's issues",

    Mocking "men's issues'",

    Justifying issues that affect men,

    Justifying discriminations against men,

    etc.

for a very long time... it's little wonder people do not really care about men as a class any more.

I really do not care, go and blow your horn all over the media. The media is slanted and biased.

Woman's issues are all over the place because generally speaking, the attention that it garnishes to certain females, it is like a drug to them, got to have it.

    .

It seems that it is always something new after the current issue wears off.

It sells, such news like that, also it gives certain people a self importance thus feeds their ego.

first I want to give you thumbs up for sticking for us.Second I want to say that even though men matter feminists just choose to ignore the issues.

Neither do I, just because 'feminist' is a label I've accepted doesn't mean women are the focus of my life and my only beliefs have to do with the betterment of women. Women's issues are just one of many things I care about.

I can honestly say I care deeply for *people*, regardless of anything else. I care for nearly every human, until they prove they're not worth caring for (Jeffrey Dahmer, for example, I detest people like him, Karla Homolka for me is the female equivalent...I hope she dies as brutally as Dahmer did).

Unfortunately for us, nobody cares about us anymore, until it comes time to steal our money, but then it is Business a usual until that time comes again

    That's true...

And if it was brought up, some women would probably think it's "sexist"
