have a 83 coupe deville 4.1 dg fuel injection?
a couple days ago i asked if anybody could help me on why my car would (barely) start.ive checked the battery,good.alternator,good,fuel pump,good,starter,good.now im starting to think its the distributor.does anybody know how hard is it to replace one.and how much it will run me for?

It could be as simple as a vacuum leak. (loose or disconnected hose to the engine.)
It could be a bad EGR valve, timing is off, bad gas, ignition module, spark plugs..
I could list 20 more things. Maybe it's time to see a good mechanic?

Best answer I can give you is stop wasting money by throwing parts at it!! The system is too complicated to guess...my bet is that you have already spent more than it would have cost to have a qualified mechanic check and repair it

Well if it's like the one my brother had it was the fuel injector.
It's the cheap kind that sits above the carburetor, there was two of them, only one was giving it fuel.

i doubt its the distributor did you check the fuel pressure, plugs and wires
