Anybody know any nice (tie & jacket) restaurants in Sn.Francisco worth spending New Year's evening in?
This is a surprise for my boyfriend. We're planning on having new year's dinner somewhere we'll never forget (we're from Mexico), somewhere with a nice view, great food, music for dancing or something of the sort

I just recently went to Gary Danko in Fisherman's Wharf. You can't find dancing there, but the food is absolutely fantastic & you cannot beat the service you will receive there. You will pay about $300 for two people (this includes drinks, desert), but it is well worth it. There is lots to do out on the wharf after dinner, so forget the dancing & go for a walk out on the Pier
