which are the best universities in the uk for becoming a teacher?
im 16, currently taking my a levels but i don't know which are the best universities for becoming a teacher. I want to teach secondary school kids, and specialize in either art or music, so if you are at uni and going down the same path i want to, some tips on which universities to look further in to would be great. thankyouuu = )
for a level im taking art, music, textiles, engligh lit and photography

You're in the same situation as mine but I already applied =P, going for engineering though...
There is the "times online" university rankings which is by far the most common and least biased...it's reliable to some extent..
You can also check the Guardian's ranking, another well-known ranking system for U.K. universities.
I've included some links for rankings in both a music major and arts major....check them out :P
Don't take those rankings too seriously though, it should give you a general idea on how universities performed relative to each other thats all ... and don't like say that this uni is better because it is ahead of that other uni by 2 ranks .. rankings within like a 15 range can be considered the same ... if you get my point...
