how can i download songs from my windows media player library onto my ipod nano?

I have an ipod nano that i got for x-mas so i copied all the old songs from my mp3 to my windows media player but i can't get windows media player to acknowledge that the ipod is there to sync them. How can i do this if i can do it all?

    Download iTunes for free on the apple website. Once it's installed transfer your songs from windows media player onto it. It will ask you if you want to convert the files. Click yes and it will convert all the music into the proper ipod format. the next time you plug in your ipod it will automatically sync on itunes and transfer your library to it.

    I don't think the iPod is compatible with Windows Media Player.... I'm pretty sure you'll have to download iTunes for the iPod to do anything.

    you need to pull up itunes and when it show up the ipod click under

    (example)sally's ipod music and drag the music from the windows media player to the folder music that you just pull up on itunes

    im not sure about this but you could try opening both window and dragging songs from the media player into itunes.

    heres the eay way to do it. connect your ipod to the computer (automatically downloads your songs from windows media player to itunes) and enjoy

    Copy them into your itune library first and then transfer them onto ur ipod

    Ok, on it will have to be on itunes. On itunes go to file, then ADD FILE or ADD FOLDER. You should get a box to download the media to the itunes!

    u have to installl itunes then right click on the song and move it into i tunes then plug your ipod in and there will be a folder for your ipod drag the songs into it

    Copy all ur music and put it in i tunes then syncronise the ipod
