I'm a first time seller on ebay?? HELP!?

i have received an email from pay-pal saying my payment for item is on hold??? On hold until - i receive positive feedback from the buyer or if 21days have passed and i haven't received a complaint etc. I'm confused. So does this mean if a post my item and mark it as send on ebay i will receive payment from pay-pal??

Whats with this 21days thing? surely i don't have to wait that long for payment.

Any hep on this would be much appreciated. Thanks

hello, I have been selling for quite awhile on Ebay. Payment on hold simply means the person either payed with an E-check, or a money order. Both e-checks and money orders take time to process and the money has to come out of their account into yours. This process usually does not take long, but I have experienced waits of up to 5 days. To avoid this in the future, you can set your settings while selling to PAYPAL ONLY or whatever payment types you want, to help avoid trouble.
