What would you think...?
The guy Ive been seeing awhile has a personal ad here on yahoo that he's been checking according to its status. Now, he tells me all the time how much he loves me, wants to be with me, and all of that other sweet stuff. I haven't caught him with anyone, and I respect his privacy as he does mine by not snooping his phone or whatnot. Still, it is offsetting to see an active personals ad when I felt things were going so....great. What do you think?

Guys generally need confidence boosters. In fact, perhaps his buddies are on the site and its just addictive to see how many people are interested in him. He may in fact have no intention or interest in the people on there at all. I've known guys who have joined a bunch of those crazy dating sites, and all for pure fun of being on the site. It gets addictive and its like having a myspace profile that you just HAVE to check everyday. If its bothering you, perhaps ask him...but don't jump to conclusions. In fact, bring it up casually and jokingly like "do you still have that dating account?" and just laugh it off. And when he says yes, just be like "do you really? how funny...why do you even go on that thing". See what he says, and maybe he will get the hint!

i think...that's...great! you don't go look for someone's privacy and that's total respect! don't get too flattered on those sweet talks, try to play "hard to get" some times, but don't play too hard! and try to know him more
