Unemployment Benefits Question?

I was recently laid off and have been receiving unemployment benefits here in Nevada the last few weeks. If I need to relocate to Washington State, will I still be able to collect benefits until I get a job there?

I believe each check provides a change of address for people who need to relocate for work or living situations. Your benefits are yours to be paid out until they expire.

You will continue receiving benefits from Nevada because that is where you paid your premiums.

Also, that prevents people from moving after they lose their job to receive more benefits.

When you become a citizen of Washington, Nevada will stop paying. You will have to look into Washington to see what you will be able to get.
