What can I add to my Betty Crocker Brownie Mix?

Im about to make some but I feel like added something to it to not just make plain. Any suggestions?

The following are things I've added to brownies with good results (or at least, ones I've liked): walnuts, chocolate chips, dried sour cherries, chopped strawberries, raisins, pecans. If there are such things as peanut butter chips, I think those would be good, or maybe a tablespoon of plain peanuts and a tablespoon of Reese's pieces. You could also add a shot of orange liqueur and some grated orange peel, or a shot of coffee for more "grown up" brownies.

I always add about a cup of chopped walnuts. But once in a while I've added some miniature marshmallows and/or extra chocolate chips. You might see if your box has any variations offered on it.

Mint: You can get some of those green mint chips - they are probably on an after Christmas sale and stir those in. Then, you can shave Andes mints with a cheese grater over the top after they are cooked.

White Chips: Stir in Vanilla chips

Source(s): People brought these types into work.

Add semi sweet chocolate chips in it as well as after it comes out of the oven, sprinkle over the top. I love dark chocolate!
