Any ideas for a present for an 8 year old boy?

I need to get my cousin a present, he's almost eight. Something educational yet a lot of fun like a game or something thanks

    a bike or skateboard or a magic kit, that might sound lame but for an 8 y/o it should be fun or one of those dance mats that hook up to the tv, the parents could then buy the game for it. there are lots of options just look around and be creative. =)
