What is something creative I can hang on a wall?

you could get a few of those crappy cd cases with the plastic sleves and cut out the little square holders and sew them together like a quilt to hang from your ceiling and keep your colourful cds in them!

OR

what I would do is make a large picture of a robot the size of your wall with a cutout where the ribcage would be or mouth--or electrical panel, more precisely--and attach it to your wall around the panel which keeps it totally free and then you'll have super fun controling your electricity via robo.

BUT

if you want something a little more tasteful, you could use an instrument case like they have on walls of restaurants.

ALTHOUGH

it may be easiest to hang fabric infront of it. maybe a flag of interest or a neato textile. Like a luxurious sari!

A chalk board or message board hung on hinges so it can swing out. Chose one with a wood frame and add hooks for keys.
