Can't get TV / PC monitor to work as a monitor for my new HP PC - can you help?
I just bought a new HP computer with a NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / NVIDIA nForce 630i graphic card and I want to use my Insignia LCD TV / PC Monitor as the monitor but it isn't working. It seemed to work fine the first time I hooked it up, however, it did not work after that first time. It seems to work up until I get the microsoft loading time clock and then it goes blank and I get "VGA Mode Not Supported", even though it seems to work briefly upon start-up. Is the graphics card too low-end for the TV?? Do I need a different driver?? Is it a TV problem?? Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
PS: The new computer works fine with my old Dell Monitor.

Here's what you do:
Hook up your old Dell monitor, get into Windows, and set the resolution as low as possible (down to 800x600 or 640x480, whichever is available), then shut down Windows.
Reconnect your LCD TV, and you should be able to get into Windows then.

both are correct
change screen res to 1366 x 768 and 16 bit colour that is max for a lcd tv
you may be able to have 32 bit

man if u get a message"VGA MODE NOT SUPPORTED" it means ur lcd tv/pc monitor's resolution is toooo high that ur graphic card cannot support so better not connect it or it will cause harm to ur lcd tv..
