Metal Gear Solid 2 Disc Being Stupid?
So, I bought the MGS Essential Collection a while back and decided to actually play it. MGS1 wouldn't read, so I had to pull the scotch tape trick on it. MGS3 plays fine (I'm playing it right now actually). But MGS2 won't load.
I put the disc in and it says "Disc Read Error." It's a brand-new disc, I'm the only owner, and it doesn't have any scratches on it. I tried the tape trick and it didn't work. Why is it doing that????

It might be your system that's "being stupid". Chances are that the optical drive is dodgy and/or failing.
