I'm going to a con next month and I already have one cosplay planned out (Euphemia from Code Geass) but I need another one. I have a short silver wig for a costume I never got around to making and I'd like to recycle it. It looks similar to Dante's hair from Devil May Cry 4:

A couple months ago, I ran into an old friend from high school and after briefly dating, we became a couple. We got along well, have a lot in common, he has a great/stable job and a formal education, and gets along with my 3-year-old daughter. He's given me an incredibly nice laptop since my old one bit the dust and also let me borrow a couple of his video game systems so I'd have something to do with my free time. He seemed a little immature, but I took it as playfulness.

Everything seemed great until this month when my nieces (15, 12, 10, and 9) came to stay for a couple of weeks. Ever since then, he's been incredibly unreasonable. Just within the last two weeks, he skipped my cousin's wedding because I didn't text him back in a "reasonable amount of time," got angry and left over me not giving my 9 y/o niece adult strength Tylenol, threatened to dump me everyday, and gives me the silent treatment (which I'm currently getting). I totally understand these as all being passive-aggressive ways to manipulate someone, so that alone shows me there isn't any long-term potential for this relationship. But this is what creeps me out: with the exception of the one who is 15, he pays way too much attention to my nieces.

He wrestles with them, tickles them, picks them up and carries them around, teases them, and he even "spanked" one. Frankly, it creeps me out in a "Michael Jackson" sort of way. There's a fine line there when it comes to playing with little girls and in my opinion, he's crossed it. He's never acted like that with my daughter; it's only with my nieces. I can't put my finger on if it's my mommy-radar going off or if he's just really playful and immature, but either way it makes me, my mom, and my eldest niece incredibly uncomfortable.

I guess my question is what would be the most tactful way to approach him about this. Any advice would be great.

So I I have this bra that I positively love.. it's one of the few I've managed to find actually in my size for a decent price (42DD). The problem is that the underarms of it reek horribly. I honestly can't even describe what it smells like other than it's totally repugnant... sort of like 30 different deodorants combined with B.O.

I've hand-washed it, thrown it in the washer/dryer, hung it up in the sun, doused it in febreeze, and nothing will get rid of this godawful smell. It's my favorite bra and I'd really hate to lose the battle of the stench but short of coating the damn thing in a box of baking soda, I'm out of ideas. It's black so I can't bleach it, either.

Any help would be very, VERY appreciated.

I've always wanted to get a Brazilian wax done just for the experience of it. I'm no stranger to waxing, so I know what it'll involve, but I was wondering if I should trim up a bit before my appointment tomorrow. Any advice?

I have a desktop that has Windows 98 on it and a few files (mostly old pics) that I want off of it. The problem is that I haven't used it in forever and it's password-protected and I forgot the d*mn password!! How can I get around that??

For some reason, the blog times are FUBAR on my Myspace. The rest of the times are right, like for bulletins and whatnot, and when I'm writing the actual blog entry it's right, but when I post it up it's some random time- for example, I wrote a blog at 3:30 this morning and it posted it as 9:30 AM. Even when I go back and try to re-edit the time, it still posts up differently.

Anyone know how to fix that?

So, I bought the MGS Essential Collection a while back and decided to actually play it. MGS1 wouldn't read, so I had to pull the scotch tape trick on it. MGS3 plays fine (I'm playing it right now actually). But MGS2 won't load.

I put the disc in and it says "Disc Read Error." It's a brand-new disc, I'm the only owner, and it doesn't have any scratches on it. I tried the tape trick and it didn't work. Why is it doing that????

Ok, first off I wanna say that I'm not pregnant. I know this for a fact (mostly because I haven't had sex since September and had a period since then). I'm also a mother, so I know my plumbing works, and I'm not a teenager so it's not wacky hormones.

I was on the Nuva-Ring since I gave birth to my daughter in 2006. Back in October, my scrip ran out so I've been off of birth control (and not having sex AT ALL). I haven't gotten a period since late September.

I do have HPV and had an abnormal smear, but my last pap came back ok. There's nothing extremely stressful going on in my life at the moment and once again I reiterate I know I'm not pregnant.

My doctor's on vacation until after the 1st and the backup doc has a 3-week waiting list. What should I do?

I bought the MGS Essential Collection brand new and I've been having issues with it. MGS1 wouldn't read either disc until I pulled the scotch tape trick around the eye of the disc. I beat that game earlier and now I'm trying to play MGS2 but my PS2 isn't reading the disc. I tried the tape thing on that and it didn't work.

I tested out other games and they all work fine.

These are brand-new discs, never played and newly opened... wtf is going on?? Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm in a really strange relationship. We were friends for a couple months and then started dating. A month into the relationship, I got pregnant. We got to know eachother through the pregnancy and for the most part got along, but after our daughter was born, the $hit hit the fan. Long story short, he quit working and turned into an abusive @sshole. I left him, moved in with my parents, and got back in college. A few months after I left, he sobered up and got a job, so we got back together, but I didn't move back in with him. That was last December.

We still don't live together and while he's still working, he's been drinking again. A lot. I know he loves me, and I love him, but it's truly a love/hate relationship. I can't stand him drinking because of the things he's done in the past and I don't want our now 2-year-old around that. He also smokes pot, which I disapprove of, and we don't really have anything in common. He wants to go to bars and I want to go bowling, he listens to rap and I listen to classical, etc.

I've contemplated leaving him for good on several occasions but it's screwing with me because like I said, I know he really loves me and I really do him, but I just don't like him.

Any thoughts?

I was bored the other day and I got wondering about this. What the heck is the difference between Creoles and Cajuns? And please note I'm talking about the cultures, NOT the food.

For some odd reason, my work has a fridge but no microwave. I hate going out to eat for lunch because it's so expensive, but I'm sick of eating peanut butter sandwiches and lunch meat every day. Does anyone know of any good lunch foods that don't need to be warmed up?

I got a Toshiba Satellite 1805-S207 off of eBay to do my schoolwork on. It worked great at first. I upgraded the memory to the max and transferred my needed files from my desktop on it. Then I turned it off one night and started getting PXE errors. I figured it was the networking, so I went into BIOS and turned the LAN off. No more PXE errors, but it prompts for the system disk. Even after putting the disks in the drive, it takes me back to the Toshiba boot screen. I got back into BIOS and changed the boot sequence to hdd-fdd-cd-rom-lan. Didn't do any good.

I managed to reformat the hard drive once, but then it went crazy again and kept prompting for the disks. I took the laptop apart and fiddled with all the connectors. It turned on and booted to XP. The next time I turned it on, it just prompted for the disks again. It's almost like roulette whether or not it'll boot.

So, my question is do you think my hard drive is dead?

I had a ferret who died a few weeks ago. I still have all of his stuff. Eventually down the road I want to get a rabbit and I was wondering if his old cage would work as a rabbit cage. It's 32"x20"x21" and looks like this one:

I've had literally everything from rats to anoles to turtles to dogs, so I'm certainly not new to owning animals of a wide variety. My most recent pet, a ferret, died a few weeks ago. Here's my problem:

I have a 2-year-old who loves animals and she's very gentle with them. She was easy with my ferret and loves her great grandma's cat and dog. I want to get a pet that she can handle and play with, which rules out pretty much everything but mammals. Small mammals (rats, gerbils, hamsters) are out because they're too little for her to really enjoy petting. I can't get a dog or a cat because I'm moving into a new apartment soon, and I don't really have the financial ability to get another ferret. My fiance and I both work and I'm also in college, so I need something that wouldn't mind being in a cage for most of the day.

The only thing I can think of are rabbits. Would they be a decent pet for my family? I haven't had a rabbit since I was about 10, lol.

I wanna get a pc game for my guy but I have no idea what I should look for. He has a brand new computer with Vista (puke), and I know the specs would run pretty much anything. I'm looking for something offline with pretty easy controls and preferably cheap (I'm trading in my old games and DVDs to get him something). He's into action/adventure/horror.

Ever since I can remember I've always been a "night person." Well, I have a 2-year-old so while I still stay up all night, I just get up and wind up being a real b*tch for most of the day. She's at her dad's for a couple weeks and I noticed I've gone nocturnal. I don't fall asleep until after the sun comes up (6 AM-ish) and then sleep until 5 in the afternoon. I've tried the staying up for 24 hours stint, but then I just wind up falling asleep at some crazy time like noon and sleeping until 10 at night which just screws me up more. I'm in college and I work, but my classes are online this quarter and I only work part-time 3 days a week.

I'm on medication for my blood pressure, so I can't take sleeping pills. I really need to get on a normal schedule before my daughter comes home. I'm desperate! Any advice?

My ferret just died about an hour and a half ago, and my daughter (she'll be 2 in August) was very attached to him. She'd call him by name, play with him, give him treats, let him out of his cage, and would tell her daddy all about him (we're separated). She's at her dad's for the week and I'm not sure how to go about telling her that Zidane has died when she comes back. Any advice?

My ferret is extremely sick, but unfortuately I lack the money to get him to a vet. I'm a single mom in college working a part-time job.. my finances are a bit strapped. Do vets set up payment plans? I'm in Ohio
