Why does Y! Answers keep sending me e-mails?

I am having the exact same problem right now. It's been going on for 2-3 days. I'll keep watching to see if someone has a solution. In the meantime, I marked them as SPAM. Hopefully that will divert them out of my IN box.

I think there was some problem with the site yesterday.. i also got similar notifications yesterday.. at least 30 of them.

I just marked them as Spam for now so they are going in my Spam folder.

I guess we need to contact yahoo answers support. I'm trying to find the number. Let me know if you find it :)

Probably an error. They'll fix it, if not then e-mail them and tell them they have a glitch or something wrong.

EDIT - The exact opposite is happening to me, I'm not getting any e-mail's for my best answer's.

Oh this is weird ,once I got two times mail for a single answer ,which was chosen as best . Just delete them ,I think you wont get any response from yahoo team if you complaint , Or you will get irritating automated responses .

Email Problem.

For sometime now there has been a gremlin in the postal system.

Yahoo is aware of it and are ‘working on it’

Yahoo is not very well known for their speed.

I keep getting the same thing. Every forty minutes, I get an email about the same question.

I have five of them, thought it was me or my computer... I guess they are working it out.... they should give points for each email

its a mistake on their end... email them and tell them whats up they should be able to fix it easily

This is happening to everyone and no one knows why

i was getting this tooo. so i go on to profile and edit. now i dont get those emails.
