Would eBay be a reliable source to search for one? What have your experiences been like? Do you have any other sites that would be a better option, particularly with lower prices than Purplemobile?

eBay is a good place to buy unlocked GSM phones. I bought an unlocked LG Viewty on eBay and I just popped in my sim card and it worked great. It also has good prices. Hope I helped!
