help with yahoo best answer notification?

Me too, over 140 today.

I marked Yahoo! Answers as spam so I don't have to deal with it, and when the glitch is fixed I will unmark them.

Sorry to break this to you but it's happening to LOTS of us and you're probably the 200th person to waste 5 points asking about it.

Worse yet, there is no way for us to opt out of getting those "best answer" notices!! You can't just change your preferences like you can when you decide not to be notified that people answered your question or your contacts asked questions. We're all just stuck with the junk emails.

It's Yahoo Answer's latest glitch. (They get so many here, it's pitiful.) It's happening to lots of us. Very annoying!! For me, it started last night.

Now that I logged in again, yes, over 100 email messages all about the same 4 or 5 "best answers" that I've gotten in the last day.

But that's Yahoo for you, they are always having some sort of glitch or other. Welcome to yaHELL. Yahoo doesn't seem to be able to hire competent help or prevent these glitches so I guess we just have to tolerate it until they fix it. YaHELL indeed.

I got 51 emails just today! It's crazy! I have two answers coming back to me over and over again. They better fix this glitch!

me too, but only 10 points even though 22 acknowledgments. Go figure.

We are all getting that, I think. I have gotten a bunch and am still getting them from time to time.

yahoo has glitch, don't worry, ignore them and yahoo will tell you when the have fixed it. the have somebody on the job.
