How to get more followers for my Facebook business page and Twitter?
I'm in charge of social media for a new company. I just set up our Facebook, and we have about 21 fans. I'm not really sure how to get more. We are a company that makes LED grow lights, aquarium lights, rc hobby lights, and general illum products. We have the links on our website, but I need out of the box ideas.
12 AnswersFacebook9 years agoDoes anyone need an invite to Pintrest? If so, list your e-mail and I will send you one.?
An invite from a member is the fastest way to get on the site and off the waiting list.
3 AnswersOther - Internet9 years agoWould this be psoriasis?
I will occasionally get little, red patches with white scales on my body. They are usually quite small, usually no larger than a dime or maybe a nickel sometimes. It looks just like the pictures I see of psoriasis, except I never really get more than one small patch at a time. All the pictures I see on the internet show the psoriasis covering very large areas or having multiple patches covering large areas.
So, I guess I am just wonder what this is.
BTW, the patches usually occur in areas that are usually covered by clothing, but recently I got a very small one just above my eyelid, which was very strange.
2 AnswersSkin Conditions1 decade agoNo messages in my inbox but still showing "2 unread"?
I'm using the "new" Yahoo! mail, and since a few days ago, I always have a "(2)" next to my inbox even when I delete every message.
There is also 1 message that says "Yahoo Error, Message Cannot Load." I delete it, it goes away, along with the (2) next to the inbox, but the next time I refresh, they are both back.
I even tried moving the offending message to spam so I wouldn't have to deal but it didn't work.
2 AnswersNotices and Errors1 decade agoIs it illegal to take a prescribed prescription in a non-prescribed way? For example, snorting pills.?
As an example, if I am prescribed Vicodin for pain and instead of taking them orally, I chop them up and snort them.
I am not thinking or even wanting to do this, I am just trying to find out the info about drug laws in the U.S.
I would just like to know if it is illegal and where I could find a link to information about the law.
6 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoHOUSE, M.D.: Why did the screen-time of characters of Chase and Cameron get cut down so much in season 4?
They are still on the show, yet only for a few minutes each episode. I preferred them way over Kutner and Taub, so what is the deal? Why did producers think they need to phase them out?
4 AnswersDrama1 decade agoHow do I tell my psychiatrist I disagree with his diagnosis?
Last year my psychiatrist diagnosed me with opiod dependence and Bipolar II. He has since tried over 30 different meds on me, usually in combinations of 4-5. Right now, for example, I am on Trazadone, Lithium, Lamictal, Neurontin, Suboxone and a pill that helps with one of the side effects of Suboxone.
I have always been wary of this Bipolar diagnosis, and recently, after reading the diagnosis criteria from the DSM-IVTR and another instituations 24 point criteria, I believe I have ADHD.
I want to tell my psychiatrist this when I see him tomorrow, but honestly, he sees me as a drug-seeking addict who just wants to diagnose myself and have him write prescription for what I want. This isn't the case. I actually would prefer to cut down what I am on or even go homeopathic.
The main problem is that because I am an addict, many psychiatrists will not even treat me. And the ones who will make you take the Suboxone maintainence and they do not accept insurance for it. Every one that I have talked to wants at least $250 for the initial consultation and $150 a month there after in cash upfront, no insurance or billing. My current doctor only has me pay a $13 copay when I see him each month, and actually, I've met my deductible, so for the past few months it has been free.
How can I broach this subject without him brushing me off? Any psychiatrists out there who can tell me what they would think if I said this to them?
11 AnswersMental Health1 decade agoHow to use an Alias on Yahoo Messanger 9.0?
My e-mail address is just [my name] @ yahoo.com but when I am using messanger to talk to some people I met on a message board. I don't want them to have my last name, so I went to the change my Account Info and added an alias. My messages still show my Yahoo ID.

1 AnswerOther - Yahoo Messenger1 decade agoFood at a Mets Game...CooliCol? Coolico? Kuliku?
King of Queens has Arthur, Doug, and Carrie at a Mets game. Carrie goes to get Arthur his favorite food.
She said something like Cooliku. I'm not sure how to spell it but I think they implied it was on a stick. I have no idea what this is...I don't think we have them in Chicago.
Can someone fill me in?
2 AnswersBaseball1 decade agoI am I repressing a memory?
I didn't realize that my stepdad was actually a step until I was 5 or and I found a birth announcement with a name other than his on it.
From that point on I was under the impression my Bio dad just ignored my existence after I was born.
Recently, however, I was told he actually babysat until I was about 9 months to a year and stopped by for a (very) few short visits until I was three.
I don't remember any of this at all which is understandable since at this point I am 21, but I would think at only 5 or 6 I would remember this dude.
Could this be a repressed memory or is it completely ridiculous to think I would have remembered even at 5 or 6.
3 AnswersMental Health1 decade agoDanity Kane's Aubrey and Andrea?
I haven't watched Making the Band basically since the beginning of season 3. I thought that Aubrey and Andrea where like really tight since they were together from the beginning auditions, but watching the last episode, Diddy says they don't even talk to each other. Why is this? Did they fight?

1 AnswerBeer, Wine & Spirits1 decade agoOpiod use, Restless legs, and Seroquel?
When I use medicines that cross the blood-brain barrier (such as Seroquel, Thorazine, or Haldol) I suffer from terrible, terrible restlessness in my legs and sometimes my arms. It gets so bad that I will pace around for about 6 hours, unable to sit for more than 30 seconds, until I can actually sleep. It always happened with the Haldol and Thorazine, bu I used Seroquel for months before it caused it.
A nurse told me that opiod use can intensify the effect of restlessness that a minority of people experience on these kind of drugs and that is why the seroquel now has this effect, as I am a former heroin addict.
I have not been able to find anything on the internet stating this correlation, so I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this.
1 AnswerOther - Health1 decade agoCan Neutontin by used as needed for anxiety or does it need to be on a regimine to work?
I'm just wondering if it would work if I take it only when I have an anxiety attack like you would use xanax or something similar or if it needs to build up to work.
1 AnswerMental Health1 decade agoSuboxone causing edema?
This is the second time I've gone on Suboxone, and now it is the second time I have developed really bad edema from it in my legs--my toes hurt to move.
When it happened last time neither my psychiatrist nor my primary care physican knew what the deal was, but my new psych said she had another patient with the same thing and when I googled it I see that it does occur, but I can't figure out why.
This last time, I don't think it happened until I missed a day, I don't remember the circumstances of the last time but it might have been when I was going off it as well. That time my PCP prescribed water pills which I tok for about a month and helped it. I haven't had it happened again until now.
How common is this and why does it happen? Can it be helped?
1 AnswerMedicine1 decade agoSymbicort making asthma worse?
My symbicort inhaler has actually always helped me, but the past few days after I use it my lungs feel like they are closing up. I usually take two puffs each dose and this morning my I was so scared i was about to close up completely after the first puff that I used my rescue inhaler which then opened my lungs up.
Whats the deal? Should I keep using it?

2 AnswersMedicine1 decade agoDifference between racing thoughts and thinking?
I'm supposedly bipolar, but psych diagnoses are not an exact science.
I'm just wondering how you can tell if you are having racing thoughts or just have a lot on your mind and are preoccupied with it.
4 AnswersMental Health1 decade agoSometimes I feel like a sociopath...?
I really am a nice caring person but over the past few months I've become more and more detached emotionally. Nothing really effects me and even when it does I refuse to show it.
I'm current have a drug addiction problem and have had a lot of consequences because of it including arrests, jail, homelessness, etc. Trouble it, I really don't understand them. They don't effect me. I see them as no big deal even though logically i know they are.
on top of this, i am also crazy impulsive. i do not think before i act in any circumstance. my psychiatrist told me he is ready to get rid of me as a patient because he doesn't want to be worried about what crazy impulsive thing I do next.
I think there may be something wrong with my frontal lobe...a former psychiatrist of mine said it might be under developed because of past trauma. i have no proof though and my current dr says thats bs.
ideas?
1 AnswerMental Health1 decade agoSharp Stomach Pain? What Could it Be?
About 3 weeks ago I was in mental health hospital detoxing and stabilizing my Bipolar medications. One day while after I ate I got this completely HORRIBLE sharp pain under sternum and right breast. I went to take a shower hoping the heat would help, but ended up having to get out to vomit. At the time, the nurse just said "you're detoxing, I'll give you a shot of Tygan (for nausea)". It didn't help at all and after being kept up all night with the pain I asked to see a medical doctor. She never showed, but by the time the staff cared (a day later) the pain had dropped down to a mild soreness.
Now, I'm getting it again, always after I eat or drink. I haven't thrown up again but it makes me nauseous. Sometime the pain radiates down the right arm or under my right shoulder blade. This morning it last 5.5 hours. The other day I was tossing and turning in bed for 3.5 hours because it hurt when I laid in anyway. Heat, mylanta, tums, and pepto bismol do not help it.
Here are some things you should know because they could have contributed:
I just got over pneumonia right before the pain started.
I developed asthma a few months ago from (reactive airway symdrome).
I had a two week period where I was constantly coughing--and hard.
My family has a history of gallbladder and kidney issues.
