Has any NFL team had a zero-win season in history?
Since there is a (good) chance Detroit might end up with a 0-16 season, I wonder if this is the first time this has happened. I don't think any team should go through this.

1976 Tampa Bay Bucs are right now the only team to have loss every game in the regular season at 0-14; the Lions will possibly be the second winless team, but the first 0-16 team in league history since the NFL has went to a 16 game season.

Yes. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went 0-14 in 1976, when the season was only 14 games.

76 Bucs went 0-14. If the Lions lose though they will be 0-16 and have the worst record ever.

Yea, but not since the season was extended to 16 games. Funny, the Lions were 4-0 in the preseason.
Weren't the old Houston Oilers winless also once?

The Buccs did but that was 0-14. If Detroit loses they'll top the NFL history books.
