My cursor moves by itself when I type, I have to keep correcting what I type..it has a mind of its own. Help!?

If you have a laptop, your mouse touchpad may be overly sensitive and picking up your thumbs as you type. See if there's a way to adjust the sensitivity. (I don’t have a laptop, so I can't blaze the trail for you.)

Ignore the silly people. And the ones who say it is a virus ( it's not ) It is not unusual for a slightly faulty "touch pad" to cause random movements of the MOUSE cursor, but for the TYPING cursor to randomly move around is very odd. I take it that the typing cursor only moves to bits of the box you are actually typing in, or does it move to any random place on the screen ? I will check back to see if you add any more information. John in Chester
