Yahoo Answers keeps saying that I got a best answer?

I got the best answer on a question, and now every hour it tells me on my e-mails that I got the best answer on that question. How do I stop it?

Sorry to break this to you but it's happening to LOTS of us and there is no way for us to opt out of getting those "best answer" notices!! You can't just change your preferences like you can when you decide not to be notified that people answered your question or your contacts asked questions. We're all just stuck with the junk emails.

It's Yahoo Answer's latest glitch. (They get so many here, it's pitiful.) It's happening to lots of us. I logged in this morning and had almost 100 of those best answer messages then another 40 or so rolled in but, as I was wading through them, I found that a bunch are repeats of the 20 or so that I had last night!! Very annoying!!

Now that I logged in again, yes, over 100 email messages all about the same 4 or 5 "best answers" that I've gotten in the last day.

But that's Yahoo for you, they are always having some sort of glitch or other. Welcome to yaHELL. Yahoo doesn't seem to be able to hire competent help or prevent these glitches so I guess we just have to tolerate it until they fix it. YaHELL indeed.

I wish I knew. Some others are saying it's a glitch in Yahoo's system and all you can do is delete the emails. Last night within 2 hours I got 26 emails about "best answer" for 2 different questions. Just a few minutes ago, I checked my email again, and the total had gone up to 110 (or 55 per question)!! I wish we could get all the points, because then I'd have another 1100 points. =)

Source(s): Ho hum--I hate glitches, but at least it's not a virus.

regrettably, those greater factors or element deductions are led to via a glitch with the on-reveal factors counter and Yahoo are conscious of the priority and attempt to repair it, however the greater factors or lost factors at the instant are not being extra to, or removed from, your total on your profile web site. you could verify your activity info and you will discover which you haven't any longer something greater or deducted.
