Cheap Business class ticket from LAX or NY/NJ?
I want to fly Business Class to Singapore in third week of June, 2009 and return after a month. I want to take a major international/domestic airlines. What is the best way to buy cheapest ticket? When should I buy it? I can fly to LAX or San Francisco and take flight to Singapore.

Singapore Airlines would have a great Raffles/Business Class. However I know the ticket price will not be cheap. Also because you are flying during June and July, the ticket prices will not be cheap because that is peak travel time. Right now with the economy struggling, airlines may be willing to lower their ticket prices. Since you have time, don't buy your ticket yet. I would wait until April or May but start searching in January. Also see if Cathay Pacific or Malaysian Airlines (MAS) has anything good. MAS only flies out of LAX.
United Airlines also can get you there and the Business Class ticket is less expensive than Singapore or Cathay Pacific. I hear the service is not as good.
If you still cannot find anything, see if the Asian travel agencies have anything within your budget. Sometimes they purchase seats in large quantity from the airlines so they can sell it to you at a discount.

I would say do a lot of research on a weekly basis to see what the prices are doing and make sure you book it with at least two months to spare, because you won't find anything cheaper than then. Your best bet is to check out the website BookMe. You can compare ALL the reputable travel ticket sites, and save money. Good luck!

regrettably, there is not any direct flights from LAX to DPS (Bali international). My suggestion is that you bypass to Hong Kong first, then to Bali --OR-- you could quit by Narita first then to Bali. Cathay Pacific gives you discounted business enterprise type seats from LAX-HKG-DPS for round $3,500 USD (one-way) even as JAL could take care of to furnish the same fare from LAX-NRT-DPS. it isn't a foul deal in any respect in case you question me. @ Mary: you could commonly come across a "lower priced" business enterprise & properly high quality tickets. SFO-MUC-SFO on F oftentimes expenditures $13,000 yet once you've a shuttle agent or credit/can credit playing cards that correct now furnish you with improvements on flights (jointly with Amex Centurion), then certain that's rather plausible to discover it as we in effortless words paid $7k for the F type from SFO-MUC on Lufthansa. the guy who requested this question probable has capacity to have a shuttle agent artwork for him/her oftentimes for loose as they get fee from airline...
