Another home audio question, help me out?

I have two JBL 200 watt 8ohm speakers. I want to know if I bought this setup;

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8715...

could I replace the front 2 speakers with mine and it work properly.

Also, any comments on this setup? Trying to improve my sound with something under $400.

    The only issue is the speaker impedance. Since the Samsung is an all-in-one system, the speaker impedances are not specified. Chances are, they are either 8-ohm or 6-ohm speakers. If so, you can use the speakers you have instead of the supplied ones. You might try contacting Samsung and ask them for the speaker impedance spec for the main (front) speakers. I would guess there is a 90% chance that you would be ok.

    If you find that the Samsung speakers are 4-ohm, then your maximum output power will be reduced. If the Samsung speakers are 16-ohm, there is a chance of damaging the amp if you play the system very loud. In either case, if you are careful, you can avoid problems.

    Most HTIB (Home Theater in a Box) systems come preconfigured to use what speakers they were made with. For a true THX surround sound system all speakers must be matched for correct sound. Your speakers may not sound better, but you can sure try. It will not hurt your system.
