6000 watts,12 hours daily & police!!!?

If i run electric appliances that runs 6000 watts for 12 hours a day AND pay my electric bill on time,,,,,will the electric company investigate?

i ilive in a private home

    Perhaps they will, IF they notice a drastic increase in your usage. They might send someone out to check if your meter is working properly. They might also call you ask if you have recently had problems with your appliances or installed new equipment that would perhaps account for the increase. They won't notify you if/when they are going to check the meter. I suppose that if the serviceman notices something that makes him think you are doing something illegal, he might also make a police report.
