Trying to find a short story...?
My dad remembers reading a short story when he was in school about a war. At the end of the story it turns out that the war was actually happening in a person's body as they were fighting illness. I've searched the internet, but can't find anything. Does anyone know the name of this story or the author?
I looked up Fantastic Voyage, but that's not it. I think it starts more as a war, and ends up being one man's struggle. He may even be in a coma as this 'war' is happening. Thanks for trying.

Closest thing I can come up with is a book by Issac Asimov -- Fantastic Voyage. It was also a movie.
