My dad remembers reading a short story when he was in school about a war. At the end of the story it turns out that the war was actually happening in a person's body as they were fighting illness. I've searched the internet, but can't find anything. Does anyone know the name of this story or the author?

I'm having a problem with my keyboard. As I type, extra characters appear! When I press the "c" key, an asterisk appears immediately after. After "m" comes a "b", after "n" comes "v", and others. Also, IE will open when I press "L" and I have no idea what keeps making Real Player appear! It's a wireless Iogear keyboard and we have several of these throughout my office. I've tried new batteries, resetting the wireless connection, etc. It's happening in many different applications, not just Word, and even as I type this question! Any help is greatly appreciated.

I play sudoku on brain age and have completed all the puzzles, but my stats still say only 90%. Am I missing something? How do you reach 100%?

I want people to be able to access my computer while I'm not around, but not be able to get into certain folders. I don't want to have to create user profiles for everyone because it would be too complicated to have each person log in and out over and over. Is there a way to just protect certain files and folders?

I currently use a medical transcription software on my computer called Winscribe, which basically lets me log into a website to hear doctors' dictation. I would like to connect a wireless router for use with an Xbox 360 and a Wii. What are the chances this will interfere with my transcription software?

I uninstalled IE7 through Add/Remove Programs, restarted the computer, and now IE6 isn't responding. My home page comes up fine, but when I try to navigate anywhere else, it freezes up. Any suggestions?

If I use Add/Remove Programs to uninstall IE7, does it only remove IE7? Is IE6 still in there somewhere?

Since updating to IE7, when trying to access my email account at homestead.com, I get several error messages, including error: object doesn't support this property or method, 'ZmMsg' is undefined, Invalid character, and 'l18nMsg' is undefined. A different computer with IE7 opens my email just fine. Any suggestions for someone who is definitely not an IT professional?
