Disney World, especially because you can also visit Universal's Islands of Adventure, which is better than any of the Disney Parks. My favorite Disney ride is the Aerosmith Rockin' Roller Coaster because the theme is the best done of any coaster I have ever been on, it's in the dark, it has loops and rolls (most in the dark coasters don't have this), it has great music, it has cool visuals during the ride and it launches at 60 mph. One other thing to note - Cinderella's castle in Disney World is really a castle - not a dollhouse like it is in California.

It seems that this question gets asked at least once a week. and the answers vary. most people will just list the one that the like best. which is usually the first park they went to. so if they first went to Disneyland, they will like disney land. etc.
each one has it pros and cons... and its usually what makes it better the same thing that makes it worse...
Disney World
Four Theme Parks, Two Water Parks, Indoor Theme Park, Two Miniature Golf Courses. there is a lot to do and covers a lot of ground. oh, and that does count some of the activities they have at the parks like horseback riding, fishing, para sailing, skiing, boat rentals, etc. so it offers the most activities. that is without counting the great restaurants.
Cons.. its so large that its hard to see everything in one trip. most of the parks require at least two day to see EVERYTHING. if you are willing to skip shows, certain rides and the live acts, then you can probably see each park in one day. but the fact that there are four means you need at least four days (one per park) to see them. also, if you want to park hope (go to more than one park in one day) there is travel time to be considered. doesn't matter if you drive your own car or take the free Disney transportation, you are looking at spending at least 30minutes to get between parks. this will eat up on your travel time.
Disneyland is all in one area. there are only two parks and they face each other. although you would still need two days per park, there are only two parks. plus there is no wasted travel time. for the size of the park there are a lot of rides. some entrances are right next to each other.
Cons: there aren't as many options for non-theme park recreation like Disney world. also because its smaller it might feel cramped. its in the middle of the city with hotels, major streets, etc. all around the park. so if you are on the edges of the park you loose some of the magic by seeing and hearing the traffic. you don't have that problem at disney world.
I have been to both and had a great time at both. my home park is Disney world because i live about 15 minutes away and have an annual pass but i would never give up the opportunity to go back to Disneyland

Disneyworld is definitely better. The atmosphere is so friendly and fun. The best rides in Disneyworld is Rockin Rollercoasrer or Tower of Terror, both at MGM. or Fast Track in Epcot

I like Disney World better. It's got a lot more going on. They have: Animal Kingdom; Epcot; Magic Kingdom and MGM (which is called something else now). Plus: They have Downtown Disney; and waterparks.
I have a lot of favorite rides, but I think my absolute favorite would be Test Trak in Epcot.

DISNEY WORLD!
my favorite ride is the rockin rollarcoaster. it goes from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds. And the whole time there's aerosmith music blaring. its so much fun! Disney World is just better over all. They have lots of great rides for all ages.(:
