There's no way to totally and completely delete everything in your browsing history, unless you choose to wipe your computer's memory...but unless you have some really hardcore material in the memory that could get you into really serious trouble, going into the "tools" section of your toolbar and then deleting the history should more than suffice. If you really want to go the extra mile, you can defragment the hard drive after you do that, just to make sure everything's good and buried.

Reformat your hard-drive.
In other words, completely wipe everything from the computer by putting the operating system installation disk through the computer again. You will lose EVERYTHING. Browsing history, cookies etc.
Downside - you also lose your personal stuff like pictures, music etc. Its like buying a brand new computer.
Don't save anything onto a disk and put it onto the computer when it's reformatted, there could be internet data if it's been downloaded from the internet.

Well i have a program i don't know if a computer nerd can find it but its called CCleaner. It cleans all temporary Internet files, history, cookies, recently typed URL's, last download location. It does that for all Internet browsers to so it will work for many.

in options tab go to privacy tab and select always clear my private data(browsing history) and then download CCleaner and run it each time after u close the browser, then there is no way anyone can trace your browsing history...
