  • Does Icon have any weaknesses? (DC Comics)?

So, I've been reading up and learning a bit more about Icon, and he seems pretty freaking strong. The only thing is, he doesn't seem to have any weaknesses, and since he's not one of the more exposed heroes, I couldn't even find a Batman contingency plan for him. According to Superman, Icon hits harder than Darkseid, which is pretty impressive. But, I can't find any examples where he struggled specifically because of a certain trait, and I can't find any information on his species (Terminan) that would suggest there's anything like Terminanite, or something (you know how creative these writers can be).

So, maybe you guys can help-- does Icon have any weaknesses or something that has been exploited to defeat him, or what?

  • Can I get into the undergraduate pilot training program, without having been in ROTC?

I am currently an undergraduate in my junior year at my university. I heard a little about the undergraduate pilot training program, but I'm not too sure as to the details of being accepted into it. I talked to one sergeant, and he said that it wouldn't be a problem, while, when I talked to another at my school, he said I would have to go in through a different program, because the UPT was only for ROTC and people who were already enlisted. Can anyone provide me with more information? Which one is accurate, and, if I can join the UPT, what do I have to do? If I can't, what other avenues are there for me to go down to be a pilot in the air force (besides just joining the air force as a private; I'm willing to do it, but I want to know all other alternatives, if there are any, first)? Any help provided is very much appreciated.

P.S. My degree is NOT in anything aeronautical or engineering related.

  • Expanding RAM on HP Mini?

I just recently bought an HP Mini 210-4150NR (this same one, if you want reference: http://www.amazon.com/HP-Mini-210-4150NR-10-1-Inch... and I wanted to expand the RAM on it. The thing is, I don't know what type of RAM I need to buy. Do any of you folks have experience with this and can point me in the right direction? Even if you don't, is there anyone who knows what I would have to look for as far as what matters when trying to expand RAM? I'm not the most tech savvy person in the world, so I'd appreciate simplicity in the answers, and any help is very much appreciated! Thanks!

  • Does anyone know about Adam, Eve and the angels?

I've a question that I'm hoping one of you lovely people may be able to answer for me; what was it that God gave Adam and Eve the ability to do that made them different from the angels? Did God say they were better than the angels, and if He did, then why? I'd appreciate if we could stay on topic with this one, folks; I know the questions in this section are usually subject to tangents. Thanks for any help!

  • Can someone help me with information on the upkeep of pocket watches?

was thinking about getting a pocket watch, but I wanted to know how they hold up if you keep them in your back pocket? What I mean to ask is, will a normal pocket watch continue to function for its expected time, regardless of me constantly sitting on it? (I weigh about 145 pounds). Thanks for any help.

P.S. I put this in education, because I had no idea where else to put it, and I figured that if there was an off chance someone would know about a pocket watch, they might be browsing here.

  • Angels, Satan, and humans?

I have a question concerning the relationship between the angels, Satan in particular, and the humans. When God made the humans why did Satan resent them? And, what did God give to the humans that he did not give to the angels? Also, was it that the humans were held higher than the angels (before the fell, of course) in God's eyes?

  • Cooling an object in a magnetic field?

So, I'm planning to magnetize a piece of magnetite (iron oxide) that has lost it's magnetism by being melted, and I heard that if I let it cool in the presence of a magnetic field, the results would be permanent. But is this only if the magnetic field is produced by an electro-magnet, or will this work in the presence of any magnetic field?

  • A question about Magnetite jewelry?

When people make magnetite jewelry, do they carve it out a bigger piece of magnetite, or can it be melted down and molded(without losing it's magnetic properties) and if it can, does it melt at the same temp. as iron?

  • **Do you value your right as a citizen to own a pocket knife, whatever make it may be**?

This isn't a question, this is a plea. Once again, our law makers are in the process of creating another law that would be detrimental to the law abiding citizens. They are trying to re-define what constitutes as a switch blade, and in doing so, would render a lot of blades illegal and therefore punishable by law for keeping them on your person. There is simply no point in them doing this; like in most other cases, people who care about the law would be persecuted and those who don't will continue doing what they do. If you are one of those law abiding citizens, and you don't want to see the switch blade that you may have gotten as a family heir loom be taken away, then please, follow this link and make your voice heard.

  • Computer's memory....?

I have an old computer that just sort of burned out a couple years ago. I had a number of files on it that I would like to retrieve. Does anyone know whether I can go into it's memory and get those documents out without actually fixing the computer, or will I need to get it fixed?

  • Need some input on the situation between China and Tibet?

I'm currently doing a group project in one of my college classes, and my group has to analyze the situation between China and Tibet. In my group we have assigned different subject areas about the topic to different people, and I elected to discuss China's side of the story. I've been looking for information about situation, and I will keep looking, but just for a bit more information, I was wondering if any of you know anything about it (I like the idea of opinions that aren't ruled by the media). What is China's claim on Tibet and what are they trying to gain from their involvement there? I will really appreciate all the helpful answers!
