How can I restore content from my deleted Windows XP administrator account?

On windows XP, I have created a new administrator account and deleted my old administrator account.

I have lots of important files in the "My Documents" folder of the old account but don't have access to them now.

Some files just waste space and some are very important.

This really frustrated me.

If anyone knows the solution, please let me know.

Thank you

    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\

here might be your documents. If you delete a user from Win XP it doesn't delete user files. So please check above folder.

An administrator account should have access to the entire disk. (A user account with administrator privilege isn't an administrator account.) At worst, either put the drive into another computer (not as the boot drive) or boot a Linux Live CD, and move the files to where your new account can get to them.

confident to the two questions. one million. this is achievable for admins to view different admin data on an identical pc. My guess, make the folder including your porn invisible and want she would not have instruct hidden folders checked. Or be like quite a few different guy and rename the folder and variety the photos one million,2,3 etc VS having usual porn names that she would be able to seek for 2. properly the respond is confident and no. once you assert manually wiped clean, you advise an entire wipe and reinstall? till to procure something that the government might choose, the common Joe cant get something this is been erased and deleted without going threw some attempt. i became into taught you gotta reformat your hard stress 6-8 circumstances repeatedly to totally do away with something that your hiding ^.^

In your control panel, click system restore. In system restore, click restore date change. Change date to the day before you created new adminstrator account. This might do the trick to retrieve your folders/files. Good luck.
