Lift kit on a Chevy S-10 Blazer?
I recently purchased a 1986 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer in great condition for $1000. I am pleased with it (and extremely happy with the price) however I was curious as to the cost and hassle of applying a lift kit. Not anything monster, just a slight raise. Thank you.

lift kits are so expensive for these trucks cause of the independent front suspension. just the lift alone is like 1500 bucks. for that price you can go buy a wrangler or a old k5 blazer already lifted.
if you just want to get a bit bigger tires, get a body lift. a guy i used to wheel with had a 85 with a 3inch body lift and ran 33inch tires
