On what dates do the Airfares take their jump for Christmas? See details... THANK YOU?
NEXT Christmas (2009) we will be spending the Holiday with family in Germany. In addition, I will retire in 12/2009. I want to retire early enough so that we can get the cheaper, non-holiday season rates. SO, on or about what date do the airlines up their fares for the Holiday Season. THANK YOU so much for information. truly appreciated.

That's really not how it works. Prices go up (mostly) and down (sometimes) anytime.

It's really hard to say. As less seats become available, the prices go up. So, it depends on how early everyone else is purchasing their tickets, and what days they are planning to fly. My suggestion would be to keep an eye on airfare prices, and when you a price that you think it good/are willing pay, purchase them!
