What are the seats like...?
I really want to go to the New Years Eve Canes vs Thrashers game, but I would have to get the upper level seating around section 322. I've never sat in upper level seating. How is the game from up above? Is it worth $100 to sit in the upper level?
*bonus: What are you doing for New Years Eve?
They are $100 because I'm buying 2 tickets

The sightlines aren't horrible, but you're a fair bit away from the rink (I was at the RBC Center in 2002).
NYE plans...hosting a casual dinner/gathering for about a dozen people; will watch Canada (hopefully) beat the US in WJC action, and then hang out and ring in the new year over cocktails.

Judging by my experience sitting in the upper level...it's incredibly cramped with no leg or arm room. However, You get a good view of all the ice. I wouldn't say it's worth 100 though. My tickets to a Wings game cost about 55 for upper level seats. You should definitely go though
I am going to drink during New Years Eve...a lot

$100 Sounds pretty expensive to me for upper level. Stub Hub has some for $28 each: http://www.stubhub.com/carolina-hurricanes-tickets...
No hockey game this New Year's Eve. We're going to visit relatives for a late Christmas Celebration and doing a Polar Bear Swin on New Year's day.
Additional Information:
$50/seat doesn't sound bad. Do you know what row you're they're on?
