12/29/2008,Survey:Sarah Palin would make a wonderful American President. Agree or disagree?

On December 15, 2008, Sarah Palin proposed a 7 percent spending decrease in the operating and capital budgets for the next fiscal year, which begins July 1. This would save the State of Alaska a lot of money, "It would provide a projected surplus of $388 million," See http://www.alaskajournal.com/stories/122108/hom_20... .

More importantly, Sarah Palin leads by example. She turns down a pay raise. "Gov. Sarah Palin says she didn't ask for a pay raise and won't accept one during her current term." "That's from her spokesman, Bill McAllister, who says he talked to the governor about the $25,000 raise that a new state commission is recommending this week." See http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2008/12/26/s... .

This could be some of the reasons why Americans have voted her the second most admired woman in the United States, behind Hillary Clinton but ahead of television host Oprah Winfrey. See http://www.adn.com/palin/story/635555.html . In addition, Sarah Palin is named "Conservative of the Year" by Human Events. See http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=29995 or http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=29994 .

I agree, as an independent male, I like her clear thinking and she walks the walk. She's articulate and knowledgeable. She has an 87% approval rating and is an accomplished Governor. I wish her all the best.

    Disagree.

AND "Why Americans have voted her the second most admired woman in the United States" is a crock of crap.

America didn't pick her as McCains running mate, and the majority didn't vote for her on election day.

I guess those who admire her didn't want her as president, weren't old enough to vote, or there really just weren't that many of them.

By the way- if I were misusing government funds the way she is, I wouldn't need a raise either.

Sarah Palin would probably be the best president the United States of America ever had. If people want to live under socialism, move, get out of this once great Nation. Sarah Palin 2012.

She is clearly as experienced (or even more so) than President Elect Obama and doesn't carry his load of negative associations. In that sense she could make a good president.

However, she would do herself a world of good by running for the Senate and spending a full term in it.

She certainly represent a point of view more closely a lined with the Constitution than any of the Presidents since president Reagan and is clearly more Constitutionally oriented than the new President Elect Obama.

After 4 years of our new socialist big government president, the country may be ready to get realistic and return to Constitutional values.

i'm no longer accustomed to Sarah Palin's regulations, yet what I definitely have examine I accept as true with. We definitely choose extra politicians in place of work like that. there is no longer many politicians that would desire to refuse a develop. maximum supply themselves will improve. I belong to no political party and don't have faith in balloting for a corrupt flesh presser basically while you evaluate that individual belongs to his/her party. that is ludicrous.

"Gov. Sarah Palin says she didn't ask for a pay raise and won't accept one during her current term."

I strongly disagree and I highly doubt that she never accepted any raise. Heck, she practically took a lot of money from the GOP just on her wardrobe alone.

I really like this woman and would like her to be a Senator next and then go on from there. Being a Republican I wasn't glad about her being chosen for VP but after giving her a chance and knowing her more I think someday she would be great as the first women President.

Sarah Palin would make excellent VP in team with uncle John, and then in 4 or 8 years she would become become our best President ever.

We had a chance to reclaim our country bureaucrats and parasites, and we missed that chance. Welcome to United Socialist States of America (USSA)
