Is there anyone out there who agrees with...?

What do you think about the opinion that the Old(er) Testament is not defunct? Is there anyone out there (born again) who feels that we should still follow the instructions in the Torah (including, but not limited to the Ten Commandments)?

Interesting site, thanks.
You raise a good point... Jesus came to "fulfill the Old Law, not destroy it."
I prefer the R.C. writer, Scott Hahn, who has an interesting view on how Jesus fulfilled The Old Law in himself and in the new church. He seems to satisfy both Torah requirements and NT theology, at the same time.
Agree or disagree with Dr Hahn, it can't be doubted he is one of the most brilliant authors who combines "Old Covanent" and "New Covenant" theology that I have ever seen or heard anywhere.
Look up some of his stuff, if you have time. He became catholic, so you might not agree with everything (On Mary as new Eve, etc..)
but you'll probably still get alot from him. I sure did.
Hey...Merry Christmas, Happy Hahukah, and Happy New Year.

The Old Testament justifies the New Testament and the New Testamant justifies the Old Testament. That is what makes the Holy Bible the Truth of God and Jesus Christ Our Savior.
The OT was is about the beginning with God and sacrfices.
GOD BLESS YOU!

Most NT believers will tell you that they are not under the legal requirements of the OT

Offer sacrifices when you sin? Stone unruly children to death? Force rape victims to marry their rapists? You mean those instructions?
No thanks.
