Significance of Samurai to Japanese history: The military rule of the shoguns, a central thread of Japanese history, is made possible by a warrior class known as the samurai.

The easiest way is to compare the Samurai to the Feudal knights of Europe. They were a class of warriors trained from youth to serve as the soldiers of their Daimyos, or feudal lords. Just as Knights Errant in Europe also inspired stories and legends of derring do, Even after the time when the Samurai contributed meaningfully to the wellfare of the state, they continued to establish a code of conduct and behavior. Look at the code of Bushido, or the story of the 47 Ronin for examples.

Samurai's are significant to the history of Japan because they were the warrior class. Perhaps they considered the "middle class" because they were below nobility but above the peasant class.

Well, if it's the differences you seek to know China and japan went into war around the time of world war II they where drunk with power and wanted more so they invaded china terrorizing villages raping and executing people for land japan won as the chinese were badly armed then japan wanted to invade america but america was to evolved for the japanese at the time with much better wepons and destroyed various locations in japan. Also chinese people do not have human rights which basically means you could kill someone leave them in the middle of the streets of china and that would be perfectly legal japan does not have this law also you are only granted to have one child in china if you birth another you must abort it or pay a very high fee of tax for the rest of the childhood of your son/Daughter korea i don't know much about so forgive me. i hoped i helped a bit or a lot yours faithfully Tsukiko Amano (^_^)
