So I just saw benjamen button, which by the way I thought was really good, and I was confused on how the clockmaker tied into the story besides the fact that the clock he made spun backward in time like benjamen. How was him and benjamen connected?

good question.
i had the same difficulty understanding that.
i think it was more of coincidence and thats why it tied in so great since benjamin aged backwards and also after benjamin died they replaced the clock with a digital clock. which is ironic.
so i think its more irony than anything.
