Now it wants the T between the blocks...and that's where i get stuck!

can they give you the same type of curl as a large barreled curling iron? or is it different?

I have been wanting to start reading the books but I didn't know a good place to start since I know there are many. I am a fan of the movies but don't know a ton more than the basics of the story so I need suggestions of books that aren't going to go over my head right away with characters and story lines I'm unfamiliar with as of yet. I have a diagram that I can hopefully describe well enough so here it goes:

Two blocks are connected by a tension force the first is 5kg and the second is 10kg. The 5kg block is being pulled the opposite way by 5N and the 10kg is also being pulled away with a 50N force.
