how do you keep cookies and cupcakes soft for days?
im doing a bake sale on friday/saturday for a school club and need the items by thursday to give to the teacher. how do i keep them soft til we sell them? any special tricks?

Cover them with plastic and put ONE slice of bread in there. Works like a charm. Put the bread to the side is all.

Put them in a container with a slice of white bread. The moister from the bread keeps the cookies moist.

I don't mean to simplify things, but possibly those flat plastic - ware containers with lids would work for you. Store in the refrigerator like they do at the bakeries, to keep it fresh would also help. Good luck!

Ditto...a slice of bread put in with the cookies or cupcakes works great! It also helps with stale cookies or overbaked cookies.
