Do you think E-bay favors the buyers over sellers?
I’ve been selling on E-bay for several years now and it seems they tend to side with buyers much more than sellers. I can write quite a bit here with examples but I’m just looking for a general idea how people feel.
Do you feel e-bay, with its guidelines, is out to serve a buyer more than a seller in general?

Absolutely - the buyer is king! Not fair on sellers but it is a tough world and they need to serve their customers.... however operating like a shop and accepting returns if they are unhappy willl just get them more business.
No I don't really like the way ebay treats their sellers but with less money around - you do not to be a cut above the competition. if you are buying then of course you should manage to grab some real bargains.

I agree. They will not allow sellers to leave neg or neutral FB which is completely wrong, discriminating. I had 2 buyers buy $1.00 jeans from me, say they didn't get them. I refunded RIGHT AWAY and they STILL left NEG Fb because they knew I couldn't!! Ridiculous. will never sell again on eBay!
ALSO, as a buyer, I purchased a photo album from a woman a few months ago. I never got the $40 album (that my friend actually wanted and paid for), I had to file PayPal because the woman said she sent with tracking. The tracking ONLY said Something was delievered from her house to a completely different state! PAYPAL took HER word that it WAS sent. I told PP I was in another state (They KNOW, as I have ahd a longtime acct with them) they refused to refund me. ebay and Paypal just plain stink!

No, because I tried to write a critical review and they just pestered me to death about it until I changed it in the seller's favor. It was annoying.

Unless you have a store it sucks to be a seller on ebay.
