yes it was reals true stories about witches and Blair from Facts of life they had to do a project for the town council. They made a playground with slides and swings and bubbling cauldrons. It was a real family place.

No, it's not real. The people in the movie were improv actors.

No. There is/was no actual Blair Witch. There is just the movie/s. The movie/s are not based on anything real. It is COMPLETELY fictional.
Oh, and in case someone mentions the "Bell Witch of Tennessee", the stories are not even similar. The Bell Witch is more of a poltergeist tale.

fake...but the funny thing is my mother was born and raised in burkittsville,maryland where it took place. unfortunately i live in maryland too (not burkittsville), and it is OH so boring..
