Do you believe in Global Warming?
I wanna know on what your opinion is.
It is in R&S because I want to know whether your spiritual beliefs affect your belief on Global Warming.

Yes absolutely i do, and we have no one to blame except ourselves

I am still a little sceptical, despite the fact that I really care about our wild places. I do however think that we should take the threat seriously. The evidence proves that natural cycles of weather occur on a grand scale. There were once lions, hippos and elephants wandering the UK countryside, about 120,000 years ago. That was an interglacial warm spell. The thing that is not disputed, is that these things happen naturally, after all the Scottish countryside is full of glacial features. However, the evidence suggests that our added contribution to global warming is making it happen at a FASTER rate than life can cope with. We are talking about climate change happening in decades, rather than spanning centuries or thousands of years. Wildlife has coped with climate change fairly well in the past. woodlands and grasslands can move at their snails pace, to keep track of the conditions that suit them. These days there are added issues. We now have our wildlife trapped in pockets that are surrounded by farmland. The natural "corridors" are gone. Wildlife charities are doing their best to make our wild places more joined up. If climate change continues as it is and there is no space for things to move, then we will lose a lot. Anyway, I think my main issue is that I don't want it to be true.

A) No
B) No.
I don't believe in G.W. because it is hype. Now it's hype a lot of people have made a LOT of money off of...and given Obama just got elected lots of folks are lining up to make even more off of it...but it is still unscientific hype. The data doesn't support it. NASA has been fudging their data for years now.
I know that sounds silly but you need to know two things. 1) The guy who is in charge of climate data at NASA is a friend and supporter of Al Gore...he has staked his career and reputation on Global Warming, and he has a lot to personally loose if the data doesn't work out the way he predicts (and it hasn't been). 2) You can see proof here http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/05/02/a_tale_of_...
look at the gif where he compares the 1999 version of the 1880-2000 NASA climate chart with the 2007 version of the 1880 to 2000 NASA climate chart. The pre-1970 temperatures have been nearly uniformly adjusted downwards - and the post 1970 temperatures have been adjusted upwards. Some of the yearly temperatures have been adjusted by as much as 0.5 degrees. That is a huge total change for a country the size of the US with thousands of separate temperature records. On average 20% of the historical record was modified 16 times in the last 2 1/2 years. They have been "massaging" the data to fit the political line coming down from their boss http://www.climateaudit.org/?p=2964
In fact sunspot data is a much better predictor of Global temperature than anything else...and the sunspots say we are in for a very cold winter (just look outside) and that things should be staying cool till about 2015. When you think about it this only makes sense...Greenhouse gasses help the Earth RETAIN heat...but the Earth first GETS all that heat from the Sun. Even a small change in solar output will have much greater effect on how hot or cold we are than the Greenhouse effect could produce, given our current atmospheric make-up. It's like the difference between putting on a hat when you are cold (helps you retain heat) or sitting next to a space heater (actually warming you). It is only when you get to a Venusian type atmosphere (90 times as much air as there is on Earth and 90% of it is C02) that you see atmospheric effects with enough power that slight changes in solar output don't overwhelm everything else.
The reason I don't believe in Global Warming is that I am a big fan of rational thought, and honest evaluation of the available evidence. I also have studied some science and a little statistics...and I know enough history that I can smell a "lets get rich by getting the government to pay for our carbon offset indulgences" scam when I see one. An honest and educated athiest should be able to see the same thing.
If there is a tie in with my Christian faith there, it may be that I try to apply the same belief in rational thought, and honest evaluation of the available evidence to my faith. I mean Thomas Aquinas is not just a great philosopher but an amazing logician...and his proofs hold up logically. Also Christianity can explain things like Lourdes, Fatima, the Shroud of Turin etc. that atheists simply can't. They wind up attacking the credibility of the witnesses, because if they try to explain what happened their explanations get so incredible that Occam's Razor winds up cutting against them.
Still you can be a good Christian and not be educated, or scientific or even rational. Lots of Christians are all of those things, but other people take Genesis literally and they are some of the nicest people, best Christians, (and worst scientists) I've ever met.
Hope this helps.

Yes I have already experienced some pretty drastic weather changes . Global warming makes perfect sense .When you live in the big city with pollution it is hotter then out in the county . I have noticed waves of heat lift up into the atmosphere. Pollution from car exhaust particles heat up -heat from buildings , black top , concrete and the lack of air flow in the big city sometimes all create a lot of heat that is not natural. The heat is unbearable when I am in the city . I prefer the country. But I do notice the example of global warming . And we feel the weather changes more so living out away from the big city.
My spiritual belief is that people do not Love or respect this Gift of our Earth from God .

I believe in it because it's happening. Do I think it's man-made? Logic tells me some of it has to be. How much, I don't know. Do I think it's dangerous? Yes. It's already showing how dangerous it is. Am I worried about life as we know it being drastically altered by any other environmental phenomena besides global warming? Yes. I think recent news that there is increased seismic activity in the area of Yellowstone Lake is at least as frightening, if not more so, than steady increase in temperatures around the world. Do these and other phenomena make me wonder if the end is near? Sometimes.

I do, but I am not so sure that it is 100 % our fault. I think that the warming could be a natural occurrence, but humans are definitely not helping. We me be accelerating it.
We are better off eliminating all of our pollution, whether global warming is real or not.

According to Al Gore the earth is getting hotter...
But I don't see a big difference in the temperature just yet...
But I do think it will start to get warmer...
I think people are too caring on this subject...
So what? The earth is getting hotter...
Their are people who are dying and suffering in poverty...
There are people dying from diseases and cancer...
Yet the most important issue in today's world is the earth getting warmer...
I'd rather have warmer temps up here in Canada then the freezing cold we already get.

Global warming isn't something to believe or not believe in, it's a fact. Our responsibility is to decide who to believe regarding the effects and the appropriate action we must take to make sure our great grandchildren don't boil away in the atmosphere.

I certainly believe that the world has and is undergoing climate change. Our records simply do not extend far enough with any accuracy to predict whether we are in a short-term period of change or something much longer.

A little.
An Ice Age happens every 10,000 years, and its been JUST about that long since the last one.
AND, HOW did OHIO have SNOW around the F*ING election?
We haven't had snow that early in 30 years!!!

Climate change is accepted by the vast majority of those scientists who study such things. Snow on the Vegas strip is fairly strong evidence that things a a-changing.
