I would try guppies, mollies, platies, swordtails, danios, and other hardy fish. Nothing too big or too sensitive.

    Hope I helped!

Zebra Danios are the best. They are very hardy and spend most of the time at the surface. When a tank is cycling, the ammonia settles near the bottom of the tank. - Never use cories or plecos for cycling.

If you have an established tank, take some gravel and put it in a nylon stocking and let it soak for a few days to get your cycle going.

usually you can go to a store and get fish specificly for the cycling of the tank. Get feeder fish, they are cheaper. I've used molly's, about 1/2 grown guppies, comets, and have also just set it up with no fish before... have the store run a water test for you to see what you need before you get fish, most stores do this for free!

black mollies and platties; hardy fishes. also goldfish, but thats unless you want to have a goldfish tank only. also i reccomend using a product called "cycle" its very good for cycling a tank. you can usually find the product at walmart, petsmart, petco.
