Opinion on $800-$900 computer build?
I am looking to build a new computer soon, and have made up a list of the parts I plan to use.
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo e8400
Mobo - GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P
Power Supply - OCZ StealthXStream OCZ600SXS 600W
Video Card - Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 512mb
RAM - CORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)
DVD Drive - SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner Black SATA Model SH-S223F
HDD - Seagate Barricuda 500gb 7200rpm
Case - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...
Just looking to see what you guys think about the choice of components. What I'm spending on these listed is really all I want to spend, but I might be willing to go a little higher if there is a good reason.
I will either be running XP Pro 64-bit, or Vista Ultimate 64-bit. I haven't quite decided if I want to spend the money to get Vista or not.

Just FYI your going to need to get Vista if you want to take advantage of DX10.
If your buying off of Newegg (which It think you are). Pick up this combo, ends up same price as your system but gives you another 100W.

Looks like a great build but have you considered maybe a Corsair 620W PSU (ultra quiet and modular cables)?
Are you going to do any overclocking?
Definitely go 64 bit if you are going 4GB, you won't regret it.

your going to be running a 64 bit O/S ? if not your wasting your money on 4 gb for a 32 bit system be cause it will only use 3 gb

it sounds good and the ram is pretty high, the features are a good price, id say it was a good buy!
