Pro-Palestinian supporters: Under what conditions will Hamas agree to peace?

I have a good idea of the general details that comprise Fatah's demands for a peace treaty (a two state solution based on 67' borders, or a close approximation; a capital in East Jerusalem; and some kind of deal recognizing the right of return)

but I am at a loss to say what Hamas seeks as a final agreement.

For my own information can you provide me a quick excerpt and a link that would sum up what Hamas wants.

Thanks for your time

Update:

rose- I was not blaming anyone in this question

As for Israel I am fairly sure that the two-state-solution has been part of the stated agenda for decades. The devil always seems to be in the details.

I am not asking what is Hamas doing for peace, but what is their stated goal and demands for a final peace agreement. That is a fair question.

Could you please answer???

Hamas offered a peace plan to Israel , that it would accept a Palestinian state on land seized by Israel in the 1967 war but would not recognize Israel !

The peace plan would have to be approved by the Palestinian people, while also offering a 10- year truce with Israel.

Haniyeh discusses peace, but makes demands

Palestine was offered the opportunity to become its own country at the same time as Israel, but had to make certain concessions. The Israelis agreed and the Palestinians did not. They have consistently demanded that 100% of their demands be met and won't consider anything less. As far as their current Hamas leadership goes, they will agree to peace with Israel when Israel no longer exists.

Hamas is the epitomy of Islamic non-coexistence with any other religion. The fact that Israel as a nation and the jews as a religion, existed for over a thousand years before Islam came into being is irrelevant.

Their precious Koran states "There is only one god, Allah, and Mohammed is his prophet" and that leaves no room for any other religion.

Should Islam succeed in eliminating the jews, christians, hindus, etc are next in line.

Their goal is exactly what it has been since Biblical times - to ensure that Israel doesn't exist and the Arab Jews have no official recognition within the region.

Beyond that, not much anyone can do.

This is a war that extends back to the Muslim Conquest wherein Jews by large were driven out of The Holy Land, though yes, there was as long period of accommodation for those who remained behind - unrecognized.

So much for the palestinians' 'we were here first' plea for sympathy....

Many sources quote the ratio of Jew to Arab population within the area designated as Israel as 1:1 at the time it was designated because Jews had been returning to the area long before Israel was formed.

Hamas seeks the destruction of the state of Israel. It's in its charter. Hamas needs to renounce that belligerent and genocidal stance before any talk of a peace agreement can even begin.

From the charter: "Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it."

"There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors."

    1. They want to be viewed and treated as the only representatives of the Palestenians. That's why they ignited the war by provoking Israel to use it as as an ideological cover to serve its endeavor.

    2. Dismantling the siege imposed on them for months now and devestating them.

    3. Coaxing financial aids from Arab countries by insinuating the following message "if you don't support us, we will carry out Iran's plans in the region."

Hamas' charter was as previously described, to eliminate Israel... however, since taking power, they have moderated and have said that any peace agreement that is passed via referendum by the Palestenians would be acceptable... sounds fair to me, and I'd hope America would do that for us with something important like setting our national boundaries against an enemy

Aww thumbs down on the truth? Sorry I ruined your questioner hero's "gotcha question" lol

If Hamas supposedly killed four innocent Israelis so far, while the IDF kills hundreds of innocent Palestinians--why are you only asking about whether Hamas will agree to peace? Are the many more Palestinian deaths really not important to some people?

I think that Israel is gonna whack Hamas....period.

[Israel's military declared areas around Gaza a "closed military zone," a move that in the past has preceded Israeli ground assaults into Gaza.]
