How difficult is College Algebra?
I'm not very good at math so I had to take Intermediate Algebra last semester and I got a B in the class. Does College Algebra get a lot harder? Do you think I will be able to get at least a B in it as well?
I am currently in College. Starting my second semester in about 2 weeks.

College Algebra is intermediate algebra mixed in with pre-calculus. Since you got a B in intermediate, I would say the only thing you have to pay attention to (not worry about) is the pre-calc, since the intermediate portion would be little more than review. As long as you have a good teacher, do your work, and get help when you need it, there's no reason why you shouldn't get an A. Good Luck

College Algebra is the spawn of Satan. Just kidding, but it does feature Functions, and Logarithms so have fun with those. Everything else is just built upon what you learned in algebra so be prepared for pre-cal problems. I highly HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend that you study college algebra before you get into the class. Some portions of it will make certain people hit a brick wall an fail out of the class.

If you got a B in intermediate algebra, you shouldn't have too much trouble with college algebra - just make sure you put in at least as much work as you did the last class. You should be able to pull of a B or better that way. Don't slack off!

College Algebra is not a piece of cake, it carries 5-6 units, which means you will have a lot of material to cover. It's part algebra, part trig and part pre-calculus. If your teacher/professor is good and you do your work, you should get a B or better.

I would say Algebra. Because it is the very most foundation of most Math subjects. If you are good in algebra, you will be good in other Math subjects also. Calculus (Differential & Integral) is difficult in a way, but with a good algebra foundation, it will not be that hard.

I will give you the secret to passing college algebra. I bought Algebra for Dummies book and CD. Seriously, it breaks algebra down so that you can understand it. Don't be too proud to buy this book. When I finished using it I gave it to my daughter to help her pass high school algebra. It works, believe me.

College algebra shouldn't be too hard since you did well in intermediate. Its just building on top of what you already know. You should be fine.

Geoffry, I don't know what stuff are you talking about because depending on the major, algebra can be difficult or simple.
