The bible hardly take women seriously at all. Women were clearly inferior to men in gods eye in the bible in all so many ways. And to answer your question, it doesn't say.

Woman have souls, men just wanted to make themselves feel superior so they wrote the bible to make themselves look superior. But women are more superior without us there would be no nurturing just wars etc.
